Water is a fundamental necessity for life – an essential resource and yet an environmental hazard.
Water research takes many forms and the University of Leeds has a wide array of expertise in water-related fields, including but not restricted to drainage basin processes and management, flooding and drought, waste water treatment, water cycle modelling, fluvial processes, groundwater pollution, legislation and environmental sustainability, water resource management and socioeconomic impact assessments.
water@leeds exists to bring together water research services at the University of Leeds under one umbrella forming a one-stop-shop.
