Upland Hydrology in the UK

Organised jointly between water@leeds, the Upland Hydrology Group (UHG) and the British Hydrological Society (BHS), with the support of the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC), the aim of the event was to share knowledge, experience and practical skills associated with understanding and managing our uplands.

Presentations were given by a diverse range of organisations including the Country Land and Business Association, the Environment Agency, Forest Research, the Tyne Rivers Trust, Moors for the Future, the National Trust, Cascade Consulting with Yorkshire Water, Wessex Water, the James Hutton Institute and the Universities of Exeter, Leeds, Newcastle and East Anglia.

As well as the presentations, there was an exhibition of posters highlighting further research and projects related to upland hydrology.
