DRTC Showcases

The water@leeds Doctoral Research and Training Centre (w@l DRTC) was launched in January 2015, with the aim of establishing a strong, multidisciplinary community of Research Postgraduates (PGRs). In this section, you can see the type of projects that a few of our PGR's have been working on and how water@leeds funding has helped them. Please click on the links below to find out more.

Please explore the tabs on the left to see what our students have been working on, and to find out how to get involved.

University of Leeds Supervisors

As part of the effort to identify funding opportunities for scholarships, the DRTC facilitates meetings and brings together great minds who could lead bids and accomplish strategies for enlarging the centre. Successes in past funding applications include for example; NERC industrial CASE studentships and support to H2020 MSCA ITNs and NERC CDT large grant applications.

Supervisors are welcome to

  • Update us on new projects taken by a Research PGR in your research group
  • Distribute our news to your students
  • Work with us to learn and get support with different bids, which will lead to GPR scholarships
  • Contribute to our bespoke trainings and our operation
  • Share with us if you came across relevant news items
