About water@leeds
Water research encompasses a range of disciplines and makes significant contributions to everyone’s day-to-day life.
water@leeds was created to bring together people working in diverse fields of water research, from biology and chemistry to engineering, geography and the physical sciences. water@leeds is not restricted to scientific and engineering research and practice but is also concerned with social, political and economic factors as well as art, literature and culture. We specialise in interdisciplinary research.
As a cross-faculty centre, water@leeds can call upon the expertise of over 150 personnel involved in or associated with water research. It is the largest university-based water research centre in the UK.
