The John Henry Garner Scholarship
This scholarship can finance postgraduate research on matters relating to chemical and biological surveys of rivers and streams, pollution prevention and the purification of sewage and trade effluents in the West Riding of Yorkshire.

water@leeds offers tailored training to individuals and organisations - a short course can be designed around your needs and the needs of your employees. With a large university campus, we can easily cater for residential courses and laboratory-based training. Or tailor-made training courses can be run at your place of work. The water@leeds short-course series
A water@leeds short-course series is currently being developed. These courses will vary from one-day introductory sessions to five-day technical. Topics within the short course series will involve:
- water treatment processes
- understanding and modelling water flow
- CFD
- sustainable water management
- environmental decision-making
- monitoring water quality
